About US
Pro Bass/Crappie Fisherman, Brian Carper
For as long as I can remember I have loved the
feel of a fishing rod in my hand. At thirteen I decided that I wanted to
become a professional bass fisherman. From that day forward my future
fishing career was the basis for every decision I have made. During high
school I worked at Pohick Regional Park. School and work kept me very busy
but whenever time allowed, I found myself on the water fishing. I started
tournament fishing at the age of sixteen when I fished local and regional
open tournaments. The following year I joined The Virginia Bass Federation
and found myself as a student in a different classroom. There were many
older anglers who taught me as much as they could. I believe those more
experienced fisherman enjoyed tutoring me, as they could see the ambition
and determination that drove me to be the best fisherman possible. Thanks
to the help of many friends and teammates I began my journey as a good
bass angler at an early age. Pro Bass/Crappie Fisherman, Jacob Jewell
I started fishing for bluegill on the banks with mom and dad at the age of 2. I then changed to fishing for bass with my dad. I can remember the first time my rod bent and the line tightened and I had hooked my first largemouth bass. I will never forget the head shaking and the blue and chrome rattle trap hanging from its mouth. Since then I have been on the lake non-stop. I discovered tournament fishing at the age of 15. I fish one to two tournaments a week. Some are local club tournaments and some are weekend trails. No matter, they all feed my obsessions for the friendly competition and learning everything I can about the water. I have also gained an appreciation for teaching others after being given the opportunity to guide for Brian Carper's Guide Service. I have had a lot of support through the years from family and friends. They have helped me become the fisherman I am today.

Pro Bass Guide on Kentucky lake, Tims Ford Lake and Center Hill Lake - Bill Merrick Bill Merrick was born in 1965, in Port Washington, Wisconsin, where his father introduced him to the great outdoors as a young lad. Learning early to love and respect God?s country, Bill was intrigued by the sport of fishing at a young age, but it wasn?t until he returned from duty in the Air Force that competitive fishing caught his attention. Bill obtained his charter captain?s license in 1987 and purchased a 27? Carver for guiding on Lake Michigan. He and a partner entered several walleye tournaments and managed to finish in the top 10 in most. After moving to Tennessee in 1993 to pursue his ?other job,? Bill soon married and started a family and his passion for tournament fishing got put on the back burner. With his son growing older, he purchased a new bass boat in 2003 and began participating in bass tournaments, a much different sport than walleye fishing. Although the competition was tough, Bill won a Tennessee Team Bass (TTB) event in 2003, finished 2nd in another TTB event in 2004 and won money in two more events. At the end of three years, Bill had won a Music City Bass event, finished 5th in a Professional Bass Fishing (PBF) event, won 3 TTB events and finished 2nd & 6th in 2 other TTB events. In 2005 he finished 2nd in TTB points and finished 7th in the Classic. Currently a General Manager for a customer-focused company in Nashville, Bill brings a wealth of experience to novice and veteran anglers alike.?>
